The first puzzle I wrote was one I'd written previously for the National Puzzler's League (http://www.puzzlers.org). In the following verse, FEAR and FARE are standing in for two 11-letter words which are anagrams of one another (note that the 11-letter words do not necessarily fit the rhythm or rhyme).
The platform that he chose to run on
Was "transportation safety," one on
Which he would be uncontested.
"Highways will be less congested,
We'll keep the roads in top repair,
Our sleek new trains will all be FARE,
Decreasing FEAR, increasing speed."
But that's not something that I need.
While safety, I admit, is great,
The speed won't help me when I'm late
And running for the 8:05
That's pulling out as I arrive.
Which is the note that I'd begun on:
A platform that I have to run on.
In this case, FARE was the password, but of course you should be able to find both.
