Glyphs

Sometimes I'll come up with neat little symbols I call "glyphs". They're supposed to be somewhere in complexity between letters and maps, and to have some sort of effect.
Awakeness
(awakeness glyph)I came up with this while trying to stay awake in some classes senior year. I draw it whenever I start falling asleep in situations requiring awakeness.

Smooth Code Compilation
(compilation glyph)This is a glyph I've wanted to have for a while, but I didn't develop it until January of '97. It's hanging above where my laptop sits at work as well as on a post-it on the laptop itself, and also hanging on my home computer.

Use these glyphs with caution. They are no substitute for a healthy sleep schedule and good coding practices. I make no claims for their effect or lack thereof.
