I also like "''em", for "them", which is (I believe) the direct descendant
of West Saxon 'hem', whereas "them" is a Scandinavian import.

ObDWJ my most embarrassing mispronunciation was of "Taliesin" - which I did
in the presence of both DWJ and Ronald Hutton.
