Yes, Woo hoo indeed! Any hint of the subject matter? I just introduced my brother to DWJ and he's gobbling up the books. When I passed on the news of two new books in the works he beamed. Now we are working on addicting our parents (smile).
And speaking of introductions, I generally lurk but pipe up once in a while. My name is Jenny Schwartzberg and I live in Chicago, Illinois. Anyone living nearby? I'm about to be 44, ouch, single, a rare book librarian and history of children's literature specialist among other things. I'm curator of my library's current exhibit: Artifacts of Childhood: 700 Years of Children's Books. Sorry, no DWJ in the collections. Eventually maybe...
I've been reading DWJ since my tweens, I think. I'm not sure what the first one was. It might have been Charmed Life or the Magicians of Caprona. I regularly reread her books and my current favorites seem to be Howl's Moving Castle and Crown of Dalemark. I did want to ask if the blood relationship between Mitt and Maewen bothers anyone since they will probably marry in a few years down the road? It worries me.
Yes, I take the books a little too seriously...
> Woo hoo!
