Jill - can you say something more about the books? Why you like them, or
what is good about them?

Clementine is a kind, spunky, funny little girl. Her misadventures are easily assimilated by the 4-8 yr. old age group. The chapters are short and fun to read aloud.

The Water Horse, as most of Dick King-Smith's books, is also a wonderful read aloud. The siblings in the story are Kirstie, aged 8 yrs., and Angus, aged 5. With the help of their grandfather, Grumble, and eventually their parnets, they keep the Water Horse safe and help find it a home.
