Okay, now I've seen the second Dr Who episode:
I think I love Eccleston as the Doctor. I thought it was witty and
funny (Brittney Spears!) and sad and the characters' scripting and
acting endearing. They're finally beginning to deal with the
psychological impact of what they're seeing (Rose's culture shock and
reaction to the death of Earth, Doctor's reaction to the death of
Galifrey and being alone). :,(
Running time worries me less.
I am horrified to think Tom Baker was a womaniser! Ick indeed!
