I don't think a discussion of Liquorice Allsorts can omit mention of Bertie
Bassett, who is a tastier British version of the Michelin man composed
entirely of these sweets. A hot-air balloon version of him can be seen
annually drifting across the skies of Bristol at the balloon fiesta. For a
