Spam to the list

I've had several spam messages from the list in the past week, about one or
two a day. Should I report them each time?

Actually it's more likely to be an external injection of email; the
headers in the message show that it came from 218.254.122.178, a cable
modem in Hong Kong. Indeed, I wouldn't have known about it (since the
message was caught by my own spam filters) if you hadn't quoted it.

Only to a Windows user, which I believe Deborah isn't. Other systems do
not need these patches. But in this case it would have made no
difference anyway; the only thing that would would be a spam-filter on
the input stage of the list server.
