All this talk of fruit has made me think of a line from one of the Little
House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, which I know I can't wuote verbatim.
Luara used to get oranges for Christmas, and at one point she says
soemthing like," Eating an orange is like eating a ray of sunshine." I
would have to agree.
Have we ever discussed food scenes in literature? Seems like a natural
for this list. :)
