Catching up on last week's newspapers, I read an article about a project
by Grace Lin, who writes and illustrates children's books. A whole bunch
of children's book illustrators painted wooden snowflakes, which are being
auctioned off to benefit cancer research. They're all really amazing and
very different; Trina Schart Hyman's, called "Iris (The Rainbow Goddess)"
is here: http://www.robertssnow.com/view.php?artist_id=190

There are links to the other snowflakes, as well as other information.

Did you ever notice when you blow in a dog's face he gets mad at you?
But...when you take him in a car he sticks his head out the window?
