W.H. Auden apparently used to have a sort of questionnaire he used to
fling, about the construction of what he called "Eden".  The interesting
thing is that because he set questions for people to answer (what is the
architecture like? for instance), one can tell exactly what sort of things
he felt were important for Eden, and learn a lot about *him* and *his*
ideas of a perfect place to live even if one doesn't ever see the answers
he gave to his own questions.
