Ah, thanks! That makes sense to me. I was a bit surprised to see
someone had managed to both write & publish an intelligent, non-hysterical
analysis of the queer (in *two* senses of the word :-) subtext of HP, as
normally articles like that tend to get *so* hung up on the "shock/horror"
aspects of the queer subtext that they never go anywhere with it, but if
he's an old hand at the politics of it all then it's not so surprising is
