Question: "High" concepts in Fantasy

Well, the definition I've heard in lit class an so forth was that high 
fantasy is fantasy set entirely in a world of its own, such as Tolkien's 
books, while non-high fantasy (not sure it would be called "low") is 
everything set partly or completely in our world.
