children's literature association, yet oddly on-topic

Charlie, is that you what's won the ChLA 2003 Article Honor for your
_Red Shift_ article? If so, Mazel Tov!

And do you realise it's tied with Teya Rosenberg's "Magical Realism and
Children's Literature: Diana Wynne Jones's _Black Maria_ and Salman
Rushdies's _Midnight's Children_ as a test case"?

Also one of the two 2003 Beither Graduate Student Fellowships went to my
thesis advisor, Jackie Horne, who advised my DWJ Master's thesis.

That makes 3/14 of the ChLA 2003 conference awards on-topic, sort of.
Whee!
