Er, are we thinking of the same covers?  My British (Gollancz?) YotG has a
really beautifully done picture of Elda in flight over open countryside, with
Endymion in the distance (Endymion looks a trifle Pernese, but otherwise it's
just as I'd imagine it).  My parents' Greenwillow YotG has a rather pathetic and
crude drawing of (iirc) Elda and Corkoran plucking assassins off the
observatory.  I'll take the Gollancz cover any day!
