Hexwood question...

I finally got a copy of Hexwood a couple of weeks ago, and just started
reading it... I'm curious as to why it's specifically dedicated to Neil
Gaiman? I vaguely remember a tale of the two authors tackling a single
subject in two distinct ways, but can't remember the details or which
titles it applied to. :^)

Thanks!
Denise
