IIRC, the whole concept of Buffy the Vampire Slayer came out of Joss
thinking about the cliche of "blonde girl walks into an alley, followed by
a shadowy figure," and wanting to turn it on its head. And so, of course,
he had the petite blonde girl kick the crap out of the shadowy figure. :^)
Twinkies are more interesting than nature.
