Re Dalemark Chronology

Interestingly, there's a "Doctor Who" audio drama "trilogy in four parts"
coming out this spring called "The Excelis Trilogy". The linked
sci-fi/fantasy stories involve another world at various points in its
history (medieval, on the cusp of the industrial revolution, modern times)
as well as an immortal villain, Grayvorn (played by Anthony Stewart Head,
who must have recorded it around the same time as reading "Witch Week"), who
tried to invade Excelis in the earliest story, and is defeated in the
different times by the centuries old time traveller the Doctor.

Compare to the Dalemark Quartet, fantasy stories set on another world in
different times in its history (prehistoric/medieval, on the cusp of the
industrial revolution, modern times), as well as an immortal villain,
Kankredin, who tried to invade Dalemark in the earliest stories, and is
defeated in the different times with some help from centuries old Undying.

Coincidence? Erm, probably.
