"Autumn" and "Fall" are use interchangeably without a preference of one
over another.  "Pennies" is the coin and used often  in New England . 
"Cents" is the value of the coin and so used accordingly.  Sometimes
"cents" is used as a noun.  (I hope this is what you're asking about, and
I'm not causing insult.)
