I know this is a bit late, but nobody suggested probably the funniest book
ever written: Good Soldier Svejk by Jaroslav Hasek. Nothing ever made me
laugh so much, the lunatic asylum scenes and those in the hospital for
malingerers are peerless. Find it and enjoy.
