Woerterbuch means dictionary, Grimms Woerterbuch (from the late 19.
century) gives the ethymologies for all the words along with quotes from
literature where the word can be found. Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm  wanted to
register
and explain the whole German language. Thus in some aspects it's like an
encycolpaedia. (And very helpful when you have to look up obscure words
from
older books).

I also liked the two rhymed quotes a lot. And just for the records, it
shoud have been "prince" and not "price", but I suppose that typo was
obvious.
