A new member/Can you recommend a DWJ book?

Ah! Now, I'm fatally addicted to both owning books and to using libraries--
academic and public. We're in the process of moving up the coast here in
California, with fifty bookcases (and excessive contents), and I'm also
looking forward to getting a San Jose Public Library card on Monday, now
that we know where we're moving *to*.

You might consider Power of Three and Spellcoats, which strike me offhand as
the most Narnian of DWJ novels. And Archer's Goon is one of the funniest
novels I've ever read. And for nostaligia of childhood combined with
strangeness, I think I'd recommend Wilkin's Tooth (Witch's Business is an
alternative title).

My favourite DWJs are Fire and Hemlock, Archer's Goon, Charmed Life,
Spellcoats and Deep Secret, but I don't think there are any real losers,
outside some of her books for younger children. And perhaps other list
members like those books-- though, oddly, we haven't really discussed them
much!
