Nancy Bond's A STRING IN A HARP (or "the" Harp, I'm not sure) which is
about Wales. A modern day kid visiting finds a harp key that belonged to
Talieson, the mythic bard. And of course, Lloyd Alexander's Prydain books
are inspired by Welsh legend. Also a more modern ghost story set in Wales
is Elizabeth Cody Kimmel's THE STONE CIRCLE.
Another wonderful Nancy Bond that's out of print is ANOTHER SHORE, about a
girl who goes back in time to a colonial setting (in Canada) in a very
realistic telling. Really a wonderful, compelling read if you can get a
