Thanks for the clarifications! I don't think it's off-topic at all. Welsh
shows up in a lot of DWJ (not to mention Susan Cooper, Lloyd Alexander ,
etc. etc.

Aside from Cooper, can people think of cases where Cornish, Scots Gaelic or
Manx show up in children's fantasy?
