Sempitern Walker is a character in the novel A Tale Of Time City. Sempitern is a title of office; he is the 1000th Sempitern. His name is actually Ranjit Walker. He is Jonathan Lee Walker's father.

He is described as tall and anguished-looking. He is also quite alarming, constantly storming about and glaring at people. He has pepper-colored hair worn in a topknot, deep-socketed eyes, and long, knobby hands. Much of the storming about is an act - perhaps his version of dealing with stage fright. He usually indulges in this behavior as he gets ready for one of the countless ceremonies? they have in Time City.
