The Isles of Blest is the setting for part of The Merlin Conspiracy. It is the equivalent of the British Isles in a parallel universe, with much more magic than Our World.

One of the differences the magic makes is that the King of Blest has a more-than-ceremonial significance in the ongoing well-being of his kingdom.

Another (possibly related) difference is that the King's court, instead of remaining in a single capital, continually travels around the kingdom (albeit in buses, as the technology level is generally similar to Our World).

Roddy Hyde and Grundo live in Blest (and in fact travel with the King's Progress, as their respective parents hold positions in the court).
